Υποδοχή Keystone Extralink CAT6 STP RJ45, θηλυκή, χαλύβδινο χρώμα, 1 τεμ.

Extralink Keystone CAT6 STP RJ45 keystone jack is a shielded female RJ45 connector intended for structured cabling in Gigabit Ethernet environments. The module is designed for termination of CAT6 shielded (STP) cables and fits standard keystone wall plates, patch panels and keystone adapters. The steel-coloured metallic housing provides a grounded shield connection to reduce electromagnetic interference and preserve signal integrity in high-speed networks.

Advantages

The keystone jack supports CAT6 performance for Gigabit Ethernet and offers shielded termination to minimise crosstalk and external interference. Its compact keystone form factor is compatible with standard mounting openings, allowing straightforward installation into wall plates and panels. The steel-coloured housing ensures a consistent metal-to-metal contact when used with shielded faceplates or panels, maintaining the integrity of the protective conductor path.

How to use

Prepare the CAT6 STP cable by stripping the outer jacket and exposing the braided or foil shield according to the cable manufacturer’s instructions. Terminate individual conductors onto the keystone jack’s IDC or punch-down contacts following the colour code printed on the module. Ensure the cable shield is properly folded back and mechanically bonded to the keystone housing or to the connector’s drain wire termination point to maintain continuity of the shielding. Insert the module into the chosen keystone wall plate or patch panel cutout until it locks in place, then secure the outlet or patch panel and test the link with appropriate network certification equipment.

Recommendations

Use appropriate cable preparation tools and a certified cable tester after installation. For optimal shielding performance, pair the keystone jack with shielded faceplates, patch panels and shielded cable management accessories, and ensure a continuous earth/ground connection throughout the shielded cabling system.
