Επίπεδο καλώδιο patch Goobay CAT 6 2m U/UTP μωβ

The Goobay CAT 6 Flat Patch Cable in 2 m length is designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. With U/UTP construction it reduces external interference and supports gigabit Ethernet performance. The flat cable profile allows installation in narrow spaces such as behind skirting boards or under carpets, while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide consistent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The violet jacket offers easy visual identification within cable bundles and neat routing along walls or furniture.

Advantages

The flat design minimises space requirements and facilitates discreet routing in confined areas. U/UTP shielding helps maintain signal integrity in environments with potential electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure low contact resistance and durability for repeated connections. Robust outer sheathing protects inner conductors and supports long-term mechanical stability.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet and Fast Ethernet network connections
• Structured cabling in apartments, offices and workstations
• Installation behind skirting boards, under carpets or along baseboards
• Connecting routers, switches, PCs, NAS devices and gaming consoles

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT 6 (compliant with category 6 performance)
• Length: 2 m
• Design: flat profile for low-profile routing
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded twisted pairs with foil)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Colour: violet

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (router, switch or modem) and the other plug to the endpoint device (PC, NAS, console or wall socket). Ensure the cable is routed along flat surfaces or under coverings without sharp bends to preserve the flat profile and internal conductor alignment. For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to mains power cables over long distances.

Recommendations

For stable gigabit speeds, use the cable for connections up to the specified 2 m length and avoid tight kinks or heavy loads. When installing under carpets or behind skirting boards, allow a small radius at turns and secure the cable with non-damaging clips to prevent abrasion. Regularly inspect connectors for dirt and ensure plugs are fully inserted to maintain low-loss contacts.
