VivoLink καλώδιο επέκτασης USB 3.0 Type-A, υποδοχή θηλυκή σε υποδοχή θηλυκή, λευκό, PROKEYUSB3AFBM5W

The VivoLink USB 3.0 Type-A Extension Cable (female-to-female) in white is designed to extend an existing USB Type-A connection without changing device ports. This passive inline adapter allows connection of two Type-A cables or extension of a host or peripheral reach while maintaining USB 3.0 data rates and compatibility with legacy USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices. The compact, low-profile coupler provides a simple way to add length to a desktop, workstation or AV setup where the original cable cannot be replaced.

Advantages

The female-to-female design enables direct coupling of two male Type-A cables to increase reach without soldering or changing connectors. Built for USB 3.0, the adapter supports SuperSpeed data transfer while remaining backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1, ensuring broad device interoperability. The white housing and compact form factor minimize visual impact in home or office environments and make the adapter easy to position in crowded cable runs.

Suitable for

• Extending a USB Type-A connection between a host and a peripheral
• Connecting two USB Type-A cables to increase cable length
• Temporary or semi-permanent desktop and workstation setups
• Audio-visual and presentation installations requiring extra cable reach
• Situations where replacing the original cable is impractical

Key specifications

• Connector type: female USB 3.0 Type-A to female USB 3.0 Type-A
• Color: white
• Data standard: USB 3.0 SuperSpeed with backward compatibility to USB 2.0/1.1
• Form factor: compact inline coupler
• Usage: passive extension for Type-A cables and devices

How to use

Insert the male Type-A plug of the host or cable into one end of the coupler and the male Type-A plug of the peripheral or second cable into the other end. Ensure both connected cables are fully seated to maintain a reliable electrical and mechanical connection. The adapter does not require power or drivers; it functions as a passive link to extend cable length while preserving the original connection types.

Recommendations

For best performance, use with high-quality USB 3.0 cables and avoid exceeding recommended total cable length for USB 3.0 links. If you need to maintain maximum SuperSpeed throughput over long runs, consider active extension solutions or powered hubs. Avoid exposure to moisture and excessive bending near the coupler to preserve connector integrity.
