Vivolink PROUSB3AB3C-DUAL is a 3 m USB 3.0 active copper cable designed for professional installations and high-speed data transfer. The cable is constructed from 99.9% pure copper and features a robust rubber outer jacket for increased durability. This dual-cable version includes an extra USB-A power lead to provide additional current to connected devices when required.

Advantages

The active design preserves signal integrity over the 3 m length for reliable USB 3.0 performance. Using 99.9% pure copper conductors and a flexible rubber sheath improves conductivity and mechanical resilience in installation environments. The additional USB-A power cable supports higher current draw from peripherals that need supplementary power.

Suitable for

• Connecting external storage, cameras or audio/video devices to host computers
• Professional AV and installation setups requiring a 3 m USB 3.0 connection
• Peripherals that need extra power through an additional USB-A power lead

How to use

Connect the main USB-A end to the host computer and the USB-C end to the downstream device. If the connected device requires additional power, plug the extra USB-A power cable into an available USB-A port on the host or a powered USB hub. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and routed to avoid sharp bends. No special software is required; the cable functions as a passive/active physical link for USB 3.0 data and power.

Recommendations

For consistent high-speed performance, avoid tight bends and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources. Use the additional USB-A power lead when devices report insufficient power or unstable operation.
