Replacement screw set for computer and equipment fans: InLine nickel-plated screws, size 5.0 × 10.0 mm, pack of 4. The screws are designed for mounting small axial or case fans where a 5 mm diameter and 10 mm thread length are required. The nickel-plated silver finish improves corrosion resistance and provides a consistent appearance when installed in metal or plastic housings.

Advantages

The nickel-plated coating offers enhanced resistance to rust and wear compared with plain steel, helping maintain reliable fixation over time. The 5.0 × 10.0 mm dimensions are compatible with many common computer fans and electronic enclosures, while the set of four screws provides enough fasteners for typical single-fan installations. The machine-threaded design ensures secure attachment and easy installation with standard screwdrivers.

How to use

Position the fan so its mounting holes align with the case or bracket holes. Insert each screw through the fan mounting hole and into the corresponding threaded hole or nut on the enclosure. Tighten evenly using an appropriate screwdriver until the fan is held firmly but avoid over-tightening to prevent thread damage or deformation of the fan frame. For plastic housings, start by hand to avoid cross-threading and finish with light turns of the screwdriver.

Recommendations

Use these screws for standard fan installations where 5.0 × 10.0 mm fasteners are specified; if mounting into soft plastics or thin sheet metal, consider using washers or backing nuts to distribute load and prevent pull-through. Inspect threads before installation and replace any screw showing signs of stripped thread or heavy corrosion.
