USB hub Lindy 4 θυρών USB 2.0 Mini Hub

The Lindy 4 Port USB 2.0 Mini Hub expands a USB Type-A equipped computer with four additional USB 2.0 ports. Supporting data transfer speeds up to 480 Mbps and backward compatible with USB 1.1/1.0, this compact, black hub (40 × 40 × 12 mm) is designed for portability and travel. It is bus-powered from the host USB port and compatible with both bus-powered and self-powered devices.

Advantages

The hub provides four readily available USB 2.0 ports without requiring drivers thanks to plug-and-play installation. Its small footprint and low weight (approx. 0.02 kg) make it convenient to carry with laptops or mobile setups. Backward compatibility ensures use with older USB devices while the supported transfer rate of up to 480 Mbps suits common peripherals such as keyboards, flash drives and external accessories.

Suitable for

• Connecting keyboards, mice and USB flash drives
• Expanding ports for laptops and compact PCs while travelling
• Adding extra connections for low-power peripherals (webcams, audio interfaces, card readers)
• Temporary connection of self-powered devices such as printers or external hard drives (when those devices have their own power supply)

How to use

Connect the Lindy 4 Port USB 2.0 Mini Hub to an available USB Type-A port on your computer. Once connected, plug your USB peripherals into the hub’s Type-A ports. The device uses plug-and-play installation so no additional drivers are required on most operating systems. If multiple bus-powered devices are connected, ensure their combined current draw does not exceed 500 mA; self-powered peripherals with their own power supplies can be used without affecting the hub’s bus power limits.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, connect high-power devices such as external hard drives or printers directly to their own powered supply or to a powered USB hub. Use this Lindy mini hub primarily for low- to medium-power peripherals and for increasing available ports on laptops and compact PCs while travelling.
