Ubiquiti UACC-OFC-MA-MPMP-3M MPO/UPC καλώδιο οπτικών ινών 3m OM4

The Ubiquiti UACC-OFC-MA-MPMP-3M is a 3 m indoor OM4 multi-mode fibre patch cable with MPO-12 Type B UPC connectors, engineered for 100G applications and high-speed links in data centres and enterprise networks. The cable supports multi-lane parallel transmission and is suitable for short to medium reach connections where OM4 performance is required.

Advantages

This MPO/UPC fibre cable provides OM4-grade multi-mode performance for higher bandwidth and lower modal dispersion compared with lower OM classes. The MPO-12 Type B UPC connectors allow parallel connectivity for 100G links and easy mating with compatible MPO ports. The 3 m length offers a compact, pre-terminated option for patching in racks and equipment cabinets.

Suitable for

• 100G parallel links in data centres
• High-density patching between panels and switches
• Short to medium reach multi-mode connections using OM4 fibre

How to use

Route the pre-terminated MPO cable between compatible MPO ports in patch panels, transceivers or breakout units. Ensure connectors are clean before mating to avoid signal loss; use appropriate dust caps until installation. Align the MPO connector keying for Type B polarity and insert until secure. Test the link after installation using suitable fibre test equipment to verify attenuation and channel performance.

Recommendations

Store and handle the OM4 fibre cable following standard fibre handling practices: avoid tight bends (adhere to the specified minimum bend radius), protect connectors from contamination, and use proper strain relief in racks. Verify compatibility of MPO polarity and transceiver requirements before deployment to ensure correct 100G operation.
