Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών MPO Ubiquiti UACC-OFC-MA-MPMP-5M 5m OM4

The Ubiquiti UACC-OFC-MA-MPMP-5M is a 5-meter indoor MPO multimode fibre patch cable with OM4 fibre and MPO-12 Type B UPC connectors, designed for 100G applications and high-speed data transmission in data centres and enterprise networks. It provides a pre-terminated connection between MPO-enabled devices, supporting dense parallel optics links and reducing installation time compared with field-terminated alternatives.

Advantages

This OM4 MPO patch cable delivers consistent multimode performance for short- to medium-range 100G links. The MPO-12 Type B UPC connectors ensure alignment and low insertion loss for parallel transceiver systems. The 5 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack and cabinet interconnects within equipment rooms while maintaining predictable optical characteristics.

Suitable for

• 100G Ethernet links using MPO parallel optics
• Data centre trunking between switches, patch panels and servers
• Enterprise backbone and high-density fibre installations

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Connector: MPO-12 Type B UPC to MPO-12 Type B UPC
• Intended use: Indoor / equipment room
• Manufacturer: Ubiquiti, MPN: UACC-OFC-MA-MPMP-5M, EAN: 810084697795

How to use

Route the cable along cable management paths avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension. Clean connector endfaces before insertion using appropriate fibre cleaning tools. Align and insert the MPO connectors into compatible MPO adapters or transceiver ports until the latch engages. Verify link status and test optical loss with suitable test equipment after installation.

Recommendations

Store and handle the OM4 MPO cable according to manufacturer guidelines; avoid exceeding minimum bend radius and protect connectors with dust caps when not in use. For reliable 100G performance, use matched MPO polarity and verify polarity mapping in multi-fibre assemblies prior to deployment.
