TRIAX TMS 5/6S Multiswitch 4 SAT + 1 TER Είσοδος, 6 Έξοδοι

In a multi-dwelling unit or a single-family home with multiple satellite receivers, distributing signals from a Quattro LNB and a terrestrial antenna to up to six outlets requires a reliable multiswitch. The TRIAX TMS 5/6S handles this seamlessly: connect four satellite polarisations and one terrestrial signal, then feed six subscriber lines without signal degradation. Each output delivers the selected satellite transponder or terrestrial channel based on receiver commands, making it ideal for distributing free-to-air and encrypted satellite TV alongside DVB-T/T2 across several rooms.

Key specifications

• 4 satellite inputs (Quattro/Quad LNB compatible) + 1 terrestrial input
• 6 subscriber outputs with F-type connectors
• Satellite frequency range: 950–2150 MHz; terrestrial: 47–862 MHz
• DiSEqC 2.0 (backward compatible with 1.0), 13/18V, 0/22kHz switching
• High isolation: >30 dB between outputs, SAT-SAT, and SAT-TER
• Low insertion loss: satellite trunk gain 0 dB, terrestrial -2 dB typical
• External power supply required (18V DC, not included); consumption <10 W
• Compact metal housing for wall mounting, operating temperature -20 to +50 °C

Why choose it

This multiswitch is engineered for stable, long-term performance in distribution systems. Its high isolation prevents interference between connected receivers, ensuring each TV gets a clean signal even when others switch channels. The wide frequency coverage supports all common satellite and terrestrial bands, and the DiSEqC compatibility means it works with virtually any modern receiver. Installation is straightforward thanks to clearly labelled F-ports and a robust chassis that dissipates heat efficiently.

Ideal use cases

• Distributing satellite TV from a single Quattro LNB to up to six rooms in a house or small apartment building
• Combining satellite and terrestrial signals for mixed DVB-S/S2 and DVB-T/T2 reception
• Upgrading an existing single-cable system to support multiple independent receivers
• Small commercial installations such as bars, offices, or guesthouses requiring multiple TV points

Good to know

The TMS 5/6S requires an external 18V DC power supply (not included) to power the LNB and internal switching circuitry. It is designed for indoor use; mount it in a utility closet or equipment rack using the built-in brackets. For best results, use high-quality RG6 coaxial cables and ensure all unused outputs are terminated with 75-ohm caps to maintain impedance matching and isolation.
