TP-Link Omada EAP673-Extender Επαναλήπτης δικτύου Λευκό 10, 100, 1000 Mbit/s

The TP-Link Omada EAP673-Extender Wi‑Fi 5 is a network repeater designed to extend wireless coverage and eliminate dead zones in homes and offices. Equipped with four high‑gain external antennas and mesh technology, it expands coverage up to 1500 ft² (140 m²) and supports seamless roaming for uninterrupted connectivity. The device supports Ethernet LAN data rates of 10/100/1000 Mbit/s and includes one RJ-45 port for wired connections.

Advantages

The EAP673-Extender provides extended and stable Wi‑Fi coverage using mesh technology and four external high‑gain antennas, reducing signal gaps across larger areas. Installation is simplified through AC power operation, avoiding the need for additional cabling or PoE infrastructure. An integrated AP mode allows flexible deployment where a dedicated PoE switch or infrastructure changes are not available.

Suitable for

• Homes with Wi‑Fi dead zones
• Small offices needing broader wireless coverage
• Spaces where running network cabling is difficult
• Environments requiring seamless roaming between access points

How to use

Plug the EAP673‑Extender into a standard AC outlet within or near the area where coverage needs improving. Connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ‑45 port if a wired backhaul or configuration is required. Use the Omada management software or the device’s setup interface to add the extender to an existing Omada mesh network or configure it in AP mode. Verify placement and signal strength, and adjust location if necessary to maximise coverage.

Recommendations

Place the extender centrally between the main access point and the dead zone, avoid placing it close to large metal objects or appliances that cause interference, and ensure firmware is kept up to date via the Omada controller or device interface for best performance.
