Θερμόμετρο υπερύθρων testo 830 T2 — εύρος μέτρησης -30 έως +400°C, φορητό θερμόμετρο χωρίς επαφή

The testo 830 T2 is a handheld infrared thermometer designed for fast, non-contact surface temperature measurements across a wide range from -30 to +400°C. Compact and portable, it provides swift readings with an infrared sensor and a laser pointer for aiming. The device is suited for applications where contact sensors are impractical or unhygienic, offering a practical solution for HVAC inspections, food-safety checks, automotive diagnostics and routine industrial maintenance.

Advantages

The infrared measurement principle enables quick temperature checks without touching the surface, reducing cross-contamination risk and allowing access to moving or hard-to-reach parts. With a wide temperature range from -30 to +400°C, the thermometer covers low-temperature refrigeration tasks as well as high-temperature industrial surfaces. Its handheld format and intuitive controls support rapid spot measurements on-site while the laser aiming improves targeting accuracy for small or distant areas.

How to use

Point the testo 830 T2 at the surface to be measured and align using the laser pointer. Maintain the recommended distance-to-spot ratio indicated in the instrument manual to ensure accurate readings, and press the measurement trigger to obtain an instant temperature value on the display. For the best results, ensure the surface is free of steam, condensation or heavy dust that could affect the infrared reading. When measuring on reflective or very small targets, follow manufacturer guidance on emissivity settings and distance to target.

Recommendations

Use the device for quick spot checks rather than precise temperature mapping of large areas; verify critical measurements with a contact probe when absolute accuracy is required or when measuring internal product temperatures in food processing. Store the thermometer in a dry environment and follow periodic battery and functionality checks as described in the technical manual.
