The Alphacool 17568 White hose connector is a compact component designed for liquid cooling assemblies in desktop computer systems. It provides a 1/4" connecting thread and a 20 mm insertion depth, matching common fittings and tubing arrangements. With an external diameter of approximately 20 mm (1.8 cm) and a weight of about 28 g, the connector is lightweight and intended for straightforward integration into cooling loops where reliable, low-profile connections are required.

Advantages

This hose connector offers precise thread compatibility to reduce the risk of cross-threading and to simplify assembly. The 20 mm depth ensures stable engagement with mating fittings, improving sealing performance. Constructed for minimal bulk, the unit helps maintain tidy tubing runs and reduces stress on neighboring components. Its white finish provides a neutral appearance that can blend with different build aesthetics.

Suitable for

• Custom PC liquid cooling loops
• Radiator, pump, and reservoir hose connections
• Replacing or upgrading existing 1/4" threaded fittings

Key specifications

• Thread size: 1/4" (G1/4 compatible)
• Insertion depth: 20 mm
• Outer diameter: 1.8 cm (approx. 20 mm)
• Color/finish: white
• Weight: approximately 28 g

How to use

Ensure system components are depressurized and drained before installation. Thread the connector into a compatible G1/4 threaded port by hand to start, then tighten to the recommended torque of the mating fitting—avoid over-tightening to prevent thread damage. Attach the hose over the connector and secure it with an appropriate clamp or compression fitting as used in your cooling loop. After installation, refill the loop, perform a leak test at low pump speed, and inspect all connections for seepage before resuming normal operation.

Recommendations

Use with tubing and fittings that match the connector's thread and diameter specifications. Regularly check connections during the first hours of operation and after thermal cycling. When assembling mixed-metal loops, consider corrosion-inhibiting additives and compatible materials to maintain long-term seal integrity.
