Καλώδιο δικτύου S/FTP S/CONN Cat. 7 75517-B

The ShiverPeaks S/FTP Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 75517-B is a 7.5 m blue Ethernet cable designed for high-speed, low-interference data transmission in structured networks. The cable employs S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts for reliable conductivity and corrosion resistance. It is intended for installations where stable gigabit and multi-gigabit performance is required over short to medium cable runs.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall braided screen with individually foil-shielded pairs, improving signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact quality and lower contact resistance. The Cat. 7 specification supports higher frequencies than Cat5e/Cat6, enabling robust performance for high-bandwidth applications. The 7.5 m length provides flexibility for connecting networking equipment across racks, desks, and home or office layouts without intermediate couplers.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels within server rooms and network cabinets
• High-speed data transfers in home offices, corporate workstations and multimedia setups
• Environments with elevated electromagnetic interference, such as near electrical equipment
• Short to medium cable runs requiring stable multi-gigabit connections

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat. 7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 7.5 m
• Color: blue
• Supported applications: Gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet, high-frequency data transmission

How to use

Route the cable between the two network devices to be connected, avoiding sharp bends and tight cable ties that could damage the internal conductors and shielding. Insert the RJ-45 connector fully into the device port until it clicks to ensure a secure mechanical and electrical connection. For permanent or structured installations, allow some slack to accommodate movement and retermination, and secure the cable with appropriate cable management accessories to reduce mechanical stress.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the S/FTP cable separated from power cables and large electric motors when possible, and avoid installing it in parallel runs with unshielded power conductors. Use shielded-compatible patch panels and connectors that preserve the cable's shielding continuity to maintain EMC benefits. Inspect connectors periodically for debris or corrosion and replace cables if physical damage or signal degradation is observed.
