Καλώδιο δικτύου S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 5 m λευκό

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 5 m White is a 5-metre Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission in home and professional networks. Constructed with S/FTP (screened foil twisted pair) shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold plating, the cable provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and reliable contact for reduced packet loss. Its white outer jacket offers a discreet, modern appearance suitable for visible installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall braided shield with individual foil shields around twisted pairs, delivering enhanced interference rejection compared with unshielded or partially shielded cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improve corrosion resistance and ensure steady contact with network ports. At 5 metres length the cable provides flexibility to connect devices across rooms or within racks without excess slack. The white jacket is flexible and resistant to normal wear, maintaining a neat look in living rooms, offices, or wiring conduits.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections up to Cat 7 performance limits
• Wired connections between routers, switches, PCs, NAS devices and game consoles
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference, such as near power equipment or dense cabling
• Visible installations where a white cable is preferred for aesthetic reasons

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braided shield + individual foil shields)
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 5 m
• Outer jacket colour: White
• Conductor type: Twisted pair copper conductors
• Suitable frequency range: up to Cat 7 specified bandwidths

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of your router, switch or modem and the other plug to the network device (PC, NAS, game console, smart TV). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; keep it away from strong sources of interference when possible. For installations in patch panels or structured cabling, use standard patching practices and maintain proper bend radius as recommended for Cat 7 cabling.

Recommendations

Use the cable for high-bandwidth applications where shielded cabling is beneficial, such as video streaming, online gaming, large file transfers, and office networks. Avoid exposing the cable to excessive heat, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or physical crushing. When connecting to legacy devices, verify port compatibility and negotiation settings to ensure optimal link speeds.
