Καλώδιο δικτύου S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 30 m

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 30 m is a 30-meter high-performance Ethernet cable designed for reliable wired network connections. It uses S/FTP (screened foil twisted pair) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and comes with RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to support stable data transmission. The cable's bright yellow jacket improves visibility for installation and cable management in home and office environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combined with individually foil-wrapped pairs provides improved protection against external noise compared with unshielded cables. The Cat. 7 design supports high data rates and offers headroom for demanding network applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure consistent conductivity and resistance to corrosion. The 30 m length covers longer runs without additional couplers, and the colored jacket helps identify lines quickly during setup and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Wired LAN connections in home or small office networks
• Connection of switches, routers, NAS devices and workstations
• Structured cabling runs where reduced interference is required
• Temporary or permanent installations that benefit from visible cable routing

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat. 7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil around each pair)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Length: 30 m
• Outer jacket color: yellow

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (router, switch or network card) and the other end to the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. For wall or ceiling runs, secure the cable using clips or ties appropriate for the installation surface, taking care not to compress the cable excessively.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP cable in parallel with mains power cables for long distances. Use proper grounding practices when connecting shielded cables in structured cabling environments to ensure the shielding is effective.
