Καλώδιο δικτύου S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 20 m μαύρο

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 20 m Black is a 20-meter network patch cable designed for high-performance wired Ethernet installations. Constructed to the Category 7 specification with S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) architecture, this cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk to support stable, high-speed data transmission in home, office, and server-room environments. It is terminated with RJ-45 connectors featuring nickel-plated contacts for improved wear resistance and reliable mating.

Advantages

The S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP cable combines robust shielding and twisted-pair geometry to provide enhanced signal integrity and reduced noise compared with lower-category cables. The 20 m length offers flexibility in network layout without additional couplers, while the nickel-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact durability and corrosion resistance. The cable’s outer jacket in black provides a discreet, professional appearance suited for visible or concealed installations.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links in home and small-office networks
• Patch-panel and switch connections in server rooms and data cabinets
• Streaming HD video, online gaming, and VoIP applications
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference that require shielded cabling

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 7 (performance for frequencies up to Cat 7 standard)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid plus individual foil on each twisted pair)
• Length: 20 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector plating: Nickel-plated contacts
• Color: Black
• Cable use: Patch/structured cabling for Ethernet networks

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to a compatible network port on a router, switch, modem or network card and the other end to the destination device or patch panel. Ensure that both connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, sharp edges and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For fixed installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties without compressing the cable core.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within its 20 m length rating and avoid bundling with unshielded power cables. Maintain bend radius greater than four times the cable diameter and inspect connectors periodically for wear. In environments with high EMI, ensure proper grounding of shielded equipment and follow local cabling standards for installation.
