Καλώδιο δικτύου S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 2 m

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 2 m is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for demanding network environments. With Category 7 specification and S/FTP shielding, the cable supports high data rates and reduced electromagnetic interference. The cable is terminated with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold to maintain reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance. The 2-meter length provides a practical balance between reach and cable management, and the yellow jacket improves visibility within patching areas.

Advantages

The S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP cable combines full shielding and individually shielded pairs to minimize crosstalk and external noise, improving signal integrity for high-bandwidth applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure stable contact and lower contact resistance over time. The cable construction conforms to Category 7 performance parameters, providing headroom for gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet connections. The bright yellow outer jacket makes it easy to trace and identify specific runs in racks and cable bundles.

Suitable for

• Gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet networks
• Server rooms, data centers, and telecommunications cabinets
• High-interference environments where shielding is required
• Patch panels, switches, and desktop connections requiring a 2 m reach

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid plus foil‑shielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold plating
• Length: 2 m
• Jacket color: yellow
• Primary use: Ethernet data transmission up to Category 7 performance

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device such as a switch, router or network card, and the other plug to the corresponding port on the remote device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain bend radius recommended for Ethernet cabling to preserve performance. For permanently installed or high-density runs, label both ends to simplify maintenance and troubleshooting.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat 7 S/FTP cable in shielded network environments and ensure proper grounding of connected equipment and cable screens. Avoid running the cable parallel to power lines for long distances and secure it with non-abrasive ties to prevent damage to the jacket and connectors.
