Καλώδιο δικτύου S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 15 m

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 15 m is a high-performance ethernet cable designed for reliable, high-speed network connections. With a 15 meter length and full S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction, this Cat 7 cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, maintaining signal integrity across longer distances. It is fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated with gold to improve contact quality and reduce corrosion. The cable’s blue jacket offers an unobtrusive, modern appearance suitable for home, office, or data center environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against external electromagnetic interference compared to unshielded cables, helping to sustain consistent throughput and lower error rates. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance conductivity and durability, leading to stable connections over repeated mating cycles. The Cat 7 standard supports higher frequencies and data rates compared with earlier categories, making the cable suitable for demanding applications while the 15 m length allows flexible placement between network devices without additional patching.

Suitable for

• High-speed internet and broadband connections
• Wired home and small office networks
• Connecting switches, routers, NAS, and networked workstations
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 15 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Color: Blue

How to use

Route the cable between network devices avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. Insert RJ-45 connectors fully into the corresponding ports until they click to ensure secure contact. For wall-mounted infrastructure or cable trays, secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties without compressing the jacket. When disconnecting, press the connector latch before pulling to avoid damage to the plug or port. Test the connection using network diagnostic tools or a link light on devices to confirm proper operation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and large motors; if the installation environment is especially noisy electrically, consider grounding practices and using shielded patch panels or couplers that preserve S/FTP continuity. Regularly inspect connectors for debris and ensure connectors are fully seated for consistent throughput.
