Καλώδιο δικτύου S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 1,5 m

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 1.5 m is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired networks. With S/FTP construction and RJ-45 connectors plated with copper, this 1.5-metre grey cable is intended to deliver stable data transmission while limiting electromagnetic interference. It adheres to Category 7 specifications for improved bandwidth and reduced crosstalk compared with lower category cables.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded twisted pairs to minimise external interference and internal crosstalk, improving signal integrity in crowded or electrically noisy environments. The RJ-45 connectors with copper plating offer reliable electrical contact and reduced resistance at connection points. At 1.5 m length the cable is convenient for connecting devices in home, office, or server rack setups where short, direct runs are required. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance for clean installations.

Key specifications

• Standard: Category 7 (Cat. 7) performance level
• Cable type: S/FTP (overall screening foil + individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 1.5 m
• Connector: RJ-45 on both ends
• Connector plating: copper-plated contacts
• Colour: grey
• Suitable for: high-speed Ethernet networks and applications requiring reduced interference

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until it clicks to ensure a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Use the 1.5 m cable for direct point-to-point links between routers, switches, modems and endpoints such as PCs, NAS units, or media players. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and keep the cable routed away from large sources of electromagnetic interference where possible to preserve shielding effectiveness and signal quality.
