Καλώδιο δικτύου S/CONN Cat. 5e SF/UTP 0,5 m

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 5e SF/UTP 0.5m is a short patch cable engineered for reliable gigabit Ethernet connections. With RJ-45 connectors on both ends and SF/UTP (S-FTP) shielding, this 0.5 meter grey cable supports data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and is intended for short-distance links between network devices where space or cable slack is limited.

Advantages

The SF/UTP shielding combines an overall foil with individually braided shields to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in environments with mixed cabling or electronic equipment. The compact 0.5 m length minimizes cable clutter and signal attenuation for short runs, while standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with switches, routers, patch panels and network interface cards that accept Cat5e performance.

Suitable for

• Short connections between switch and patch panel
• Linking a router to a wall outlet or modem in confined spaces
• Server rack interconnects where minimal cable length is required
• Temporary test setups, bench networking and diagnostic use

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 5e
• Shielding type: SF/UTP (overall foil + individually braided shields)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Maximum data rate: 1000 Mbit/s (1 Gbit/s)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Color: Grey

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your device and the other plug to the corresponding port on the switch, router, patch panel or modem. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. This cable is intended for indoor use and for short point-to-point links; avoid running it alongside high-voltage power lines to minimize possible interference despite shielding.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat 5e SF/UTP cable for connections up to 0.5 m within racks or closely spaced devices. Inspect connectors for debris before insertion and avoid sharp bends or kinks that could damage the cable or reduce throughput.
