Καλώδιο δικτύου S/CONN 75900-50HS γκρι 50 m Cat6 S/FTP

The S/CONN 75900-50HS Grey 50 m Cat6 S/FTP is a 50-metre networking cable from ShiverPeaks built to meet Cat6 performance requirements. It features S/FTP (overall braid plus individually foil-shielded pairs) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, enabling consistent data transmission rates over horizontal cable runs. The grey jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for residential and commercial installations, and the cable is intended for use in structured cabling systems that require Cat6 specifications.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides superior protection against external noise and pair-to-pair interference compared with unshielded solutions, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple electronic devices or adjacent cabling. The 50 m length covers typical room-to-closet or device-to-switch distances without splicing, and Cat6 support ensures compatibility with Gigabit Ethernet and many Power over Ethernet (PoE) setups when installed according to standards. The flexible jacket facilitates routing in conduits and along walls while maintaining consistent electrical characteristics.

Suitable for

• Horizontal wiring between patch panels and wall outlets in homes and offices
• Connecting network switches, routers, and servers over short to medium distances
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference, such as near electrical equipment
• Structured cabling projects where Cat6 performance is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 performance class
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braided screen plus foil-wrapped individual pairs
• Length: 50 metres
• Color: Grey jacket
• Conductor type: twisted pair copper conductors
• Typical use: horizontal/patch cabling for Ethernet networks

How to use

Install the cable following standard structured cabling practices: route the cable along the planned path, avoid tight bends and excessive tension, and maintain separation from high-voltage power lines to minimise interference. Terminate each end with compatible Cat6 RJ45 connectors or punch down into Cat6-compliant keystone jacks or patch panels, ensuring the shield is properly grounded when required by the installation to preserve shielding effectiveness. Test continuity and performance with a network cable tester after installation.

Recommendations

For best results, adhere to installation standards for Cat6 cabling, keep cable runs within recommended length limits for specific applications, and ensure proper grounding of the shield. Use compatible Cat6 components and verify link performance with appropriate testing equipment before putting the connection into production.
