Καλώδιο δικτύωσης S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 10 m

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 10 m is a 10‑metre network patch cable designed for high‑speed data transmission and stable wired connections. This Cat 7 S/FTP cable uses individually shielded pairs plus an overall shield to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over longer runs. Fitted with RJ‑45 connectors plated in gold, the cable supports reliable contact and minimizes oxidation at connection points. The cable's blue jacket provides clear visual identification in multi‑cable environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction delivers improved immunity to crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded variants, which helps preserve throughput and reduce packet errors in congested environments. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 connectors provide consistent contact quality and corrosion resistance. The 10 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or linking network equipment within racks and workstations. The Cat 7 specification ensures support for higher frequencies and better overall performance for modern Ethernet applications.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, servers, switches and routers in home or office networks
• High‑bandwidth applications such as 4K video streaming, online gaming and large file transfers
• Structured cabling runs within small offices, server rooms and multimedia setups

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 7 (S/FTP shielding)
• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: RJ‑45 with gold plating
• Conductor arrangement: individually shielded twisted pairs with overall shield
• Jacket color: blue
• Typical use: Gigabit and multi‑gigabit Ethernet applications

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 plug to the network port of your device (PC, switch, router or modem) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the destination device. Ensure that connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and high‑interference sources such as large power transformers or unshielded power cables. For patch panels and keystone jacks, confirm compatible RJ‑45 ports and maintain proper cable management to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight coils and bends with radii smaller than the cable's specified minimum bend radius. Keep the cable run separated from sources of strong electromagnetic interference and use shielded ports or grounding where required in structured or industrial environments.
