EUROLITE PAR-16 Spot Set with dim2warm EDX-4 DMX RDM LED dimmerpack provides a compact lighting control solution for PAR-16 LED spots. The unit accepts DMX input and supports RDM for remote configuration and addressing. dim2warm functionality enables a smooth, natural warm-up of color temperature when dimming, allowing more nuanced control of mood and appearance from bright white to warm amber tones. The set is intended for situations where small, controllable PAR-16 fixtures require centralized DMX-based control in a compact footprint.

Advantages

The dim2warm feature offers progressive color-temperature shifting as intensity is reduced, improving aesthetic continuity during fades without additional color-mixing fixtures. DMX compatibility ensures integration with standard lighting desks and controllers, while RDM support simplifies remote addressing and parameter changes. The compact form factor makes the dimmerpack easy to install into truss, racks, or small stage setups and reduces the need for bulky control equipment.

How to use

Connect the dimmerpack to a DMX controller using standard DMX cabling and assign channels according to the installer or controller plan. Use RDM-compatible consoles or software to remotely set addresses and adjust parameters during setup. Install PAR-16 LED spots on the outputs and verify dim2warm behavior by running intensity fades; observe the gradual warm shift as levels decrease. Secure the unit in an appropriate location with regard to ventilation and access for cabling.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use DMX cables of appropriate shielded quality and avoid excessively long runs without boosters. Allow sufficient ventilation around the dimmerpack and follow fixture manufacturer guidance for load and thermal limits. Use RDM during initial configuration to reduce manual access to the unit in installed positions.
