SATEL SLIM-R-DUAL Ανιχνευτής οροφής με διπλή τεχνολογία (PIR + μικροκύματα)

In a busy office with glass partitions and high ceilings, the SATEL SLIM-R-DUAL keeps watch from above, blending into the ceiling tile like a smoke detector. Installers choose this detector when wall mounting is impractical or when a single sensor must cover an entire room without dead zones. Its slim, discreet profile and 360° detection pattern make it a natural fit for modern interiors where aesthetics matter as much as security.

Key specifications

• Dual detection technology: Passive Infrared (PIR) + Microwave (24.125 GHz)
• Ceiling mounting with 360° detection angle
• Detection range up to 12 m in diameter at mounting height
• Supply voltage: 12 V DC ±15%
• Current consumption: 12 mA standby, 15 mA maximum
• Alarm and tamper outputs: NC relay, 40 mA / 16 V DC rating
• Operating temperature: -10°C to +55°C, max humidity 93 ±3%
• Environmental class II, compliant with EN 50131 Grade 2
• Built-in EOL resistors (2EOL/NC, 3EOL/NC)
• Adjustable PIR and microwave sensitivity, alarm memory, LED indicator

Why choose it

Combining PIR and microwave technologies, the SLIM-R-DUAL significantly reduces false alarms by requiring both sensors to trigger before an alarm is raised. Its ceiling mount provides full-room coverage from a single point, eliminating dead zones common with corner-mounted detectors. The built-in EOL resistors simplify wiring and reduce installation time, while the adjustable sensitivity allows fine-tuning for challenging environments.

Ideal use cases

• Offices and open-plan workspaces
• Retail stores and showrooms
• Residential living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms
• Corridors and lobbies where wall mounting is not feasible

Good to know

The detector is designed for indoor use only and must be installed by a qualified security professional. It meets EN 50131 Grade 2 requirements, making it suitable for medium-risk commercial and residential applications. The LED indicator can be disabled for covert operation if needed.
