Αισθητήρας υπερύθρων STEINEL IS 180-2 Ενσύρματος Τοίχου Λευκό

The STEINEL IS 180-2 Wired Wall White is an infrared motion sensor designed for fixed wall installation. It detects movement up to 12 meters and is powered from a 230–240 V, 50 Hz mains supply. Housed in a compact, weather-resistant enclosure with IP54 protection, the sensor is intended for outdoor and indoor locations where reliable presence detection is required. Its low-profile design and white finish allow discreet installation on facades, porches, corridors, or garage entrances.

Advantages

The sensor offers a broad detection range and stable operation on standard mains voltage, enabling straightforward integration into existing lighting circuits. Its IP54-rated housing provides protection against dust and water splashes, making it suitable for sheltered outdoor mounting. The compact dimensions make installation in constrained spaces easier, while the wired connection ensures consistent power and response without battery changes or wireless interference.

Suitable for

• Outdoor wall-mounted motion detection for lighting control
• Entrance areas such as porches, garages and walkways
• Commercial or residential exterior lighting automation
• Indoor corridors and stairwells requiring reliable presence detection

Key specifications

• Detection principle: Infrared motion detection
• Maximum detection range: up to 12 meters
• Power supply: 230–240 V AC, 50 Hz
• Protection rating: IP54 (splash and dust protected)
• Housing colour: White
• Dimensions (W × D × H): 76 × 56 × 120 mm
• Mounting: Wall-mounted, wired connection

How to use

Mount the sensor at the recommended height and location to cover the desired detection area, avoiding direct exposure to heat sources or reflective surfaces that could affect infrared sensing. Connect the device to the lighting circuit according to local electrical regulations, ensuring the supply is 230–240 V, 50 Hz. Adjust the orientation so the sensor’s field of view covers entrances or pathways. After wiring and mounting, perform a walk test to verify detection coverage and adjust positioning if necessary.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, install the sensor under a small overhang or sheltered position to reduce direct rain or heavy spray exposure despite the IP54 rating. Periodically check the mounting and wiring connections and clean the sensor window to prevent false triggers from accumulated dirt or cobwebs.
