Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O7413.2 2m SC τυρκουάζ

The EFB Elektronik O7413.2 2m SC Turquoise is a 2-meter OM3 multimode fibre optic patch cable with SC connectors on both ends. With a 50 µm core diameter and full duplex configuration, the cable is designed for high-speed data transmission in modern network environments. Its turquoise jacket provides easy identification in cable bundles while the multimode OM3 specification enables reliable performance for short to moderate distance links in data centers, telecommunications racks and campus networks.

Advantages

The cable combines OM3 multimode performance with SC simplex-style connectors in a duplex assembly to deliver consistent signal quality and low insertion loss for high-bandwidth applications. The 50 µm core supports common multimode transceivers and offers good modal bandwidth for 10 Gbps and some higher-speed short-reach links. The 2 m length keeps patching tidy in rack and equipment setups, and the turquoise outer jacket helps with color-coded infrastructure management. The construction emphasizes durability and stable mating performance over repeated connections.

Suitable for

• Data center patch panels and equipment interconnects
• Server-to-switch or switch-to-switch multimode links
• Telecommunications and network racks in enterprise and campus environments
• Short-reach 10 Gbps and other multimode transceiver connections

Key specifications

• Length: 2 meters
• Fiber type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: SC to SC duplex
• Configuration: Full duplex
• Jacket color: Turquoise

How to use

Route the cable between equipment ports or patch panel ports making sure connectors are clean and free of dust before insertion. Align and insert the SC connectors until they click into place, ensuring both ends are seated securely for full duplex operation. Avoid tight bends and excessive tension during installation; follow the minimum bend radius recommended for OM3 multimode fibre. For best performance, use appropriate fibre cleaning tools and inspect connector endfaces prior to mating.

Recommendations

Store and handle the fibre cable to prevent contamination and mechanical damage. Use color-coding in combination with cable management to simplify identification. For links requiring longer distances or single-mode transceivers, evaluate single-mode fibre alternatives. When deploying in high-density environments, verify transceiver compatibility with OM3 multimode specifications and test the assembled link with an appropriate optical tester.
