Ψηφιακό μικρόφωνο βιντεοκάμερας RØDE Videomic PRO +

The RØDE VideoMic Pro+ is a compact digital camcorder shotgun microphone designed for camcorders, DSLR and mirrorless cameras and portable audio recorders. It offers a sensitivity of -33.6 dB, a frequency range of 20–20,000 Hz and wired 3.5 mm connectivity. The microphone supports multiple power options — the supplied LB-1 lithium‑ion rechargeable battery, two AA cells or continuous power via micro‑USB — and includes the proven Rycote Lyre suspension and an improved capsule, line tube and windshield for reliable on-camera audio capture.

Advantages

VideoMic Pro+ combines a lightweight, compact design (66 x 170 x 111 mm, 122 g) with digital switching controls that reduce post-production work. The microphone features an automatic power function that turns the unit off when disconnected from the camera, a built-in battery door for easy battery replacement, and a safety channel to protect against clipping. Adjustable high-pass filtering, three-stage gain with a +20 dB option and a high-frequency boost provide precise control of the recorded sound.

Suitable for

• Run-and-gun video shooting with camcorders and mirrorless/DSLR cameras
• On-camera location recording for interviews and reporting
• Reference or primary audio capture for portable recorders

How to use

Mount the VideoMic Pro+ on the camera hot shoe or compatible mount and connect the 3.5 mm output to your camera or recorder input. Select the required digital switching options: engage the 2-stage high-pass filter to reduce low-frequency rumble, choose the appropriate of the 3-stage gain settings (use the +20 dB when recording to DSLR or mirrorless cameras that need extra trim) and enable high-frequency boost if additional clarity is required. Power the microphone using the included LB-1 rechargeable battery, two AA batteries or via micro‑USB for continuous operation. The automatic power function will turn the microphone off when unplugged from the camera to save battery life.

Recommendations

For best results, use the Rycote Lyre suspension and windshield when recording in noisy environments and enable the safety channel when recording unpredictable sources to prevent clipping. When using DSLR or mirrorless cameras, try the +20 dB gain setting and monitor levels to avoid distortion.
