Μικρόφωνο κινητού τηλεφώνου RØDE Videomic Me-C+

The RØDE VideoMic Me-C+ is a compact directional microphone for Android and iOS mobile devices with a USB-C port. It delivers improved audio for video recordings by focusing on the subject and reducing surrounding noise. A 3.5 mm jack provides a headphone output for real-time monitoring and playback. The microphone connects via USB-C, is powered through the host device (consuming around 100 mA), and mounts easily with its integrated clip.

Advantages

The VideoMic Me-C+ offers clear, focused audio capture with a frequency response suitable for speech and general recording (20–20,000 Hz) and 24-bit digital audio quality. Its directional pickup pattern reduces ambient noise to prioritise the sound source in front of the microphone. The built-in 3.5 mm output allows headphone monitoring while recording, and the wired USB-C connection ensures compatibility with modern smartphones and reliable power delivery without separate batteries.

Suitable for

• Vlogging and social media videos
• Interviews and field recordings with a smartphone
• Content creation on iOS and Android devices with USB-C
• On-the-go reporting and documentary snippets

Plug the USB-C connector into the device’s port; the microphone will draw power from the phone or tablet. Connect headphones to the 3.5 mm jack to monitor audio in real time. Open your camera or recording app and check levels before recording; position the microphone to minimise unwanted noise from the sides and rear.

Recommendations

For best results, keep the microphone aimed at the primary sound source and avoid obstructing the capsule. Use the headphone output to verify audio levels during setup. When recording in windy conditions, consider adding a compatible windshield accessory to reduce wind noise.
