3,5 mm minijack – 3-πολικός προσαρμογέας XLR RØDE VXLR

The RØDE 3.5mm Mini - 3-Pin XLR Connector (VXLR) converts an unbalanced 3.5mm mini-jack connection to a balanced 3-pin XLR output, allowing use of devices with TRS or TRRS mini-jack outputs on professional XLR-equipped mixers and recorders. It has a durable black finish and is intended for audio signal adaptation between consumer and professional equipment.

Advantages

The VXLR provides a compact, single-piece solution for adapting a 3.5mm mini-jack to a 3-pin XLR with minimal signal loss. Its metal housing and standard XLR pinout ensure a secure, reliable connection and straightforward integration into existing audio setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting cameras, smartphones or portable recorders with a 3.5mm output to XLR inputs on mixers or audio interfaces
• Adapting lavalier or other mini-jack microphones for use with professional XLR-equipped devices
• Temporary or mobile recording setups where balanced XLR inputs are required

Verify polarity and level on the receiving device and adjust gain as needed. For TRRS smartphone outputs, use a compatible microphone output mode or adapter if required.

Recommendations

Use the VXLR for short cable runs and when adapting consumer-level mini-jack sources to professional XLR inputs. Check device compatibility and set input gain conservatively to avoid clipping; the adapter does not provide impedance matching or attenuation.
