QNAP QXG-10G1T Κάρτα Δικτύου Εσωτερική Ethernet 10000 Mbit/s

QNAP provides Ethernet network expansion cards designed to increase the network bandwidth of QNAP NAS devices for demanding data transfer and virtualization workloads. The product range includes cards for upgrading a NAS with 1 GbE via PCI, 10 GbE options with SFP+ or 10GBASE-T interfaces, and higher-capacity 40 GbE cards to meet varied performance requirements.

Advantages

These expansion cards enable scalable network performance improvements without replacing the NAS unit, support multiple interface types (1 GbE, 10 GbE SFP+, 10GBASE-T, and 40 GbE) to match existing infrastructure, and offer a cost-effective way to address increased bandwidth needs for virtualization and intensive data-transfer applications.

Key specifications

• Supported interfaces: 1 GbE (PCI), 10 GbE (SFP+), 10 GbE (10GBASE-T), 40 GbE
• Purpose: Increase NAS network bandwidth for data transfer and virtualization
• Compatibility: QNAP NAS devices with available PCI/expansion slots

How to use

Select the expansion card that matches your NAS slot and network infrastructure, power down the NAS according to the manufacturer instructions, install the card into an available PCI/expansion slot, secure it, reconnect network cables appropriate to the chosen interface, and power the NAS back on. After installation, configure network settings on the QNAP NAS management interface to enable and optimize the new network port.

Recommendations

Choose the card type based on existing switch and cabling: use SFP+ modules for fiber/SFP+ switches, 10GBASE-T for copper cabling and RJ45 switches, and consider 40 GbE for aggregation or very high-throughput requirements. Verify NAS model compatibility and firmware support before purchase.
