Προστατευτικό καλωδίου ACT TT4522 RJ45 μπλε για καλώδιο 6,5 mm

The ACT RJ45 blue boot is designed to fit RJ45 connectors on 6.5 mm diameter network cables, providing mechanical protection and strain relief at the connector entrance. Supplied in packs of 25 pieces, the blue boot helps prevent cable jacket damage, reduces risk of connector tab breakage and improves overall cable handling during installation and maintenance. The product is CE and RoHS certified, reflecting compliance with relevant safety and environmental standards.

Advantages

This cable boot offers a compact, molded design that preserves the shape of the connector while adding flexible strain relief to the cable entry. The blue color enables quick visual identification of a cable run or function. The soft yet resilient material absorbs bending stress near the connector, extending the service life of both cable and plug. Supplied in multi-packs, the boots are convenient for batch installations and spare-part inventory.

Suitable for

• Ethernet patch cords and short-run network assemblies using 6.5 mm jacketed cables
• Structured cabling installations in offices, data cabinets and comms rooms
• Field termination and repair tasks where connector strain relief is required
• Color-coded network identification and cable management

Key specifications

• Compatible cable outer diameter: 6.5 mm
• Color: blue
• Material: flexible molded polymer (protective boot)
• Pack quantity: 25 pieces per pack
• Certifications: CE, RoHS compliance

How to use

Slide the boot onto the cable before fitting the RJ45 plug, aligning the narrow end toward the connector. After crimping or terminating the plug, push the boot forward until it seats over the plug body so the boot's rear provides strain relief around the cable jacket. Ensure the boot does not interfere with the plug latch movement and that the connector is fully inserted into the mating socket for proper electrical contact.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use the ACT boot with cables close to the specified 6.5 mm diameter and avoid forcing oversized cables through the boot. Use color-coded boots to simplify cable tracing and maintain spare boots in the installation kit for field replacements. Inspect boots periodically for wear or cracking in high-flex applications and replace if deformation or damage is observed.
