MicroConnect CONB65O Προστατευτικό θηκάκι για καλώδια Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A έως 6,5 mm, πορτοκαλί

Strain Relief Boot Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A up to 6.5MM in orange, pack of 100. These boots protect connector interfaces from bending stress and reduce cable jacket wear for patch cords and premade network cables. The bright orange colour aids identification in structured cabling installations and supports use with Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A plugs with outer diameters up to 6.5 mm.

Advantages

The boots provide strain relief to extend connector and cable life, minimise accidental disconnections caused by cable flexing, and improve cable routing neatness. Their universal fit for common RJ45 connector housings makes them suitable for both field-assembled and factory-terminated cables. The pack of 100 offers a cost-effective supply for larger installations or maintenance work.

Suitable for

• Protecting RJ45 connectors on Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A patch cables
• Colour-coding and identifying network runs in racks and patch panels
• Installing or repairing premade Ethernet leads and patch cords

Key specifications

• Quantity: 100 pieces
• Compatible cable types: Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A
• Maximum cable outer diameter: up to 6.5 mm
• Colour: Orange

How to use

Slide the boot over the cable jacket before fitting the RJ45 plug, then crimp or assemble the connector as usual so the boot covers the connector boot area. For premade cables, push the boot onto the connector until it seats against the plug housing. Ensure the boot does not interfere with the locking tab and that the cable is fully inserted to maintain reliable electrical and mechanical connection.

Recommendations

Use these strain relief boots where frequent flexing or tight bend radii occur, and maintain colour-coding consistency across racks and panels for easier identification. Verify cable outer diameter before installation to ensure a correct fit.
