Προστατευτικό καλωδίου ACT TT4513 RJ45 πράσινο για καλώδιο 5,5 mm

The ACT RJ45 green boot is designed for use with Ethernet connectors on cables with an outer diameter of approximately 5.5 mm. Supplied in packs of 25 pieces, this protective boot provides cable strain relief and contact protection for RJ-45 connectors while adding visual identification with its green color. The product is CE and RoHS certified, indicating conformity with relevant safety and environmental standards.

Advantages

The boot reduces bending stress at the connector junction and protects the RJ-45 plug latch from accidental damage during installation or handling. Its molded shape ensures a consistent fit over standard 8P8C modular plugs designed for thicker cables. The green color improves cable management and makes specific lines easier to locate within patch panels and cable runs.

Suitable for

• Ethernet patch and jumper cables with ~5.5 mm outer diameter
• Network installations requiring color-coded cable identification
• Data centers, server rooms, office networks and structured cabling projects
• Field repairs and on-site cable replacement tasks

Key specifications

• Compatible connector type: RJ-45 (8P8C modular plug)
• Intended cable outer diameter: approximately 5.5 mm
• Material: molded elastomer/plastic for flexibility and durability
• Pack quantity: 25 pieces per pack
• Color: green for visual identification
• Standards: CE and RoHS compliant

How to use

Slide the boot onto the cable before terminating the RJ-45 connector, ensuring the wider end faces the connector body so the molded section covers the plug and latch area once crimped. After crimping the modular plug, push the boot forward until it seats over the connector housing and provides strain relief and latch protection. For pre-terminated cables, gently remove or trim any existing sleeve if necessary and replace with a new boot following the same positioning method.

Recommendations

For reliable strain relief and latch protection, choose boots that match the cable outer diameter; these ACT green boots are optimized for ~5.5 mm cables. Avoid forcing boots over connectors not sized for this diameter to prevent deformation. Use color-coding consistently across installations to improve maintenance and reduce troubleshooting time.
