Προστασία υπέρτασης LevelOne ESP-2400 24-Port PoE 6KV 30W

The LevelOne ESP-2400 is an in-line 24-port RJ45 surge protector rack designed to protect PoE devices that follow IEEE 802.3at/af standards. The unit provides 48 RJ45 connectors (24 protected lines) and installs directly in-line on Cat5e/6 Ethernet cables. Constructed from metal, the compact rack measures 482 mm x 59 mm and weighs 1.2 kg, offering surge protection up to 6 kV to maintain network equipment integrity.

Advantages

The ESP-2400 supports PoE devices with a nominal input voltage of 58 V and a clamping voltage of 77 V, providing targeted protection against voltage spikes and static discharge. Each port is individually isolated so that damage to one port will not compromise the entire rack. The metal housing and rack-mount form factor make installation durable and space-efficient in standard equipment racks.

Suitable for

• Protecting PoE switches and PoE-enabled routers
• Safeguarding IP cameras and wireless access points powered over Ethernet
• Protecting network endpoints such as switches, routers and PCs in rack environments

How to use

Install the ESP-2400 in-line on each Cat5e/6 cable between the protected PoE device and the network source. Mount the unit in a standard 19" rack using the provided mounting points, or place it where inline connections are required. Connect each RJ45 cable to the corresponding input and output connectors so that the protected line is in series between source and device. Check LEDs for port status; an LED off indicates that the corresponding port may be damaged and isolated.

Recommendations

Install surge protectors in grounded rack environments. Verify compatibility with your PoE equipment (IEEE 802.3at/af) and ensure proper cable category (Cat5e/6). Replace the unit or damaged ports if LED indicators show failures to maintain protection.
