The Brennenstuhl 1256000698 power extension is an indoor surge-protected socket strip with eight AC outlets and a 3 m cable. Designed for safe, compact power distribution, it features an angled plug for easier access in confined spaces and a robust construction in black finish. The strip provides surge protection up to 60,000 A and is rated for a 16 A current.

Advantages

The unit offers surge protection with a maximum leakage current of 60,000 A, an illuminated two-pole safety switch for clear on/off control, increased touch protection and an EMI/RFI interference filter to reduce electrical noise. Its 3 m cable and eight AC outlets allow flexible placement and connection of multiple devices indoors.

Suitable for

• Home entertainment systems (TV, set-top boxes, game consoles)
• Computer workstations and peripherals (PC, monitor, printer)
• Office equipment and small appliances
• Audio equipment and network devices

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 m
• AC outlets quantity: 8
• Surge protection: up to 60,000 A
• Rated current: 16 A
• Illuminated two-pole safety on/off switch
• EMI/RFI interference filter

The EMI/RFI filter will help reduce interference while the surge protection guards against transient overvoltages.

Recommendations

Do not use the power extension outdoors or in damp environments. Ensure the combined current draw of connected devices does not exceed 16 A. In case of visible damage or after a strong surge event (e.g., lightning strike), stop using the strip and replace it or have it inspected by qualified personnel.
