Προσαρμογέας PoE PLANET VC-205-KIT

PLANET VC-205-KIT PoE over Coaxial Extender Kit enables Ethernet data and power delivery over an existing coaxial cable up to 1000 m (3280 ft). The kit contains a Transmitter (VC-205PT) and a Receiver (VC-205PR) that work as a pair to extend IP connectivity and inject PoE to remote devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points and other 802.3af/at powered devices without requiring additional power adapters at the remote site.

Advantages

The VC-205-KIT supports IEEE 802.3af/at standards and delivers up to 25 W over coaxial link while the receiver provides up to 30 W to the PD over Ethernet, allowing a single PoE source to power both transceivers and the powered device. The devices are plug-and-play, require no software configuration, include front-panel diagnostic LEDs for status monitoring, and operate reliably in temperatures from -10 to 60 °C. This eliminates the need for local power supplies at remote locations and simplifies installation for long-distance PoE deployments.

Suitable for

• Remote PoE IP camera installations beyond 100 m
• PoE wireless access point deployments over existing coaxial cabling
• Long-range PoE links for campus, warehouse, parking lot and casino environments

Key specifications

• Model: PLANET VC-205-KIT (VC-205PT transmitter + VC-205PR receiver)
• Standards: IEEE 802.3af/at compliant
• Maximum coaxial extension distance: up to 1000 m (3280 ft)
• Power output over coaxial: up to 25 W (per design)
• PoE output at receiver: up to 30 W to PD over Ethernet
• Ethernet ports: 10/100TX
• Operating temperature: -10 to 60 °C

How to use

Install the VC-205PT transmitter near the PoE source and connect its Ethernet port to a PoE switch or injector. Link the transmitter and receiver using the existing coaxial cable up to 1000 m. Place the VC-205PR receiver at the remote location and connect its Ethernet port to the PoE powered device (for example, an IP camera or wireless AP). The pair is plug-and-play and does not require additional configuration; diagnostic LEDs indicate link and power status.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, verify coaxial cable condition and length before installation, use proper grounding where required, and ensure the central PoE source can supply sufficient power for both transceivers and the remote PD. Avoid exposing the units to temperatures outside the -10 to 60 °C range.
