It supports standard 10GBASE-SR optical links, reduces the need for system modifications, and delivers low-latency, high-throughput connectivity at a competitive price point.

Key specifications

How to use

Install the Solo10G adapter into a Thunderbolt 3 port on your Mac or Windows computer, insert a compatible 10GBASE-SR SFP+ optical transceiver into the SFP+ slot, and connect the fiber optic cable to the transceiver. Configure the operating system network settings as required to activate the 10GbE interface and join your existing network or storage environment.

Recommendations

Use IEEE-compliant 10GBASE-SR SFP+ transceivers and multimode fiber rated for 10Gb performance. Ensure drivers or firmware updates recommended by Sonnet are installed and verify compatibility with your network switches and storage systems before deployment.
