D-Link Hi-Speed USB 2.0 10/100 Προσαρμογέας Ethernet

The D-Link DUB-E100 is a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet Adapter that connects to an available USB port on a desktop or laptop running Microsoft Windows XP, Me, 2000 or 98SE. Based on USB 2.0, it provides true 10/100Mbps Ethernet connectivity without requiring internal expansion slots or an external power adapter, with a built-in USB cable and a standard RJ-45 connector for easy connection to an Ethernet or Fast Ethernet LAN.

Advantages

The adapter eliminates the need to open the computer case or use ISA, PCI or PC Card slots, simplifying installation with USB plug-and-play. It draws power directly from the USB bus, supports USB suspend and resume for reduced power consumption, and offers a quick method to add 10Mbps or 100Mbps wired network access to desktops and laptops via a hub or switch.

For laptops, allow the adapter to use USB suspend and resume features to conserve power when the system is in low-power states.

Recommendations

Use a shielded or properly rated Ethernet cable for best signal integrity and connect through a hub or switch that supports 10/100Mbps speeds. Verify driver compatibility with the specific Windows version before deployment and avoid using USB ports shared with high-power peripherals to ensure stable operation.
