Προσαρμογέας καλωδίου Renkforce RF-4212237

The Renkforce RF-4212237 Cable Gender Changer converts a DisplayPort connection to a DVI connection, enabling compatibility between devices that use these different interfaces. The adapter supports the DisplayPort standard, which offers higher data rates than older DVI-only solutions and includes an auxiliary channel for audio transmission and HDCP-based content protection. The compact black housing provides a space-saving and durable connection option for desktop and AV setups.

Advantages

The adapter allows direct connection between a DisplayPort source and a DVI display without requiring a full cable replacement. It supports audio channel pass-through provided by the DisplayPort standard and incorporates HDCP content protection. Its small form factor simplifies installation in tight spaces and reduces cable clutter.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or graphics card with DisplayPort output to a monitor with DVI input
• Office workstations where older DVI monitors are reused with modern systems
• Home AV setups requiring conversion between DisplayPort and DVI interfaces

Ensure both devices are powered on and select the correct input on the display if necessary. No additional drivers are required for basic video conversion.

Recommendations

For best results, use high-quality DVI cables and ensure the DisplayPort source supports the desired video resolution. If audio is required, verify that the source device and display or downstream equipment support audio over the DisplayPort auxiliary channel.
