Πομποδέκτης & δέκτης AV Manhattan 1080p HDMI over IP Extender Kit

The Manhattan 1080p HDMI over IP Extender Kit allows you to extend a High-Definition (1080p) HDMI signal up to 120 m (396 ft) using a single Ethernet cable and an IP network. The kit includes a powered transmitter and receiver pair that transmit full HD video and multichannel audio from virtually any HDMI source (game consoles, Blu-ray players, satellite receivers, digital recorders, etc.) to a distant display or projector. Both units include 3.5 mm IR ports to enable remote control of the source from the display location. The compact wired solution is compatible with Cat5e/Cat6 (UTP, SSTP, SFTP) cabling and is HDCP-compliant.

Advantages

The extender kit provides reliable 1080p video and multichannel audio transmission over longer distances than standard HDMI cables, reducing the need for in-line repeaters. Using a single Ethernet cable makes installation simpler and more cost-effective compared with long HDMI runs. The transmitter and receiver support IR pass-through for remote control and are tested for performance and reliability. The kit’s compact design and compatibility with common Ethernet cabling make it suitable for a variety of AV setups.

How to use

Connect the HDMI source (for example, a Blu-ray player or game console) to the transmitter’s HDMI input and connect the display or projector to the receiver’s HDMI output. Use a single Ethernet cable between the transmitter and receiver, routing it through an IP network or a network switch as required. Plug in the included power supplies for the transmitter and receiver. If remote control of the source is needed, connect IR emitters and receivers to the 3.5 mm IR ports on the respective units and position them appropriately.

Recommendations

For best results use high-quality Cat5e or Cat6 UTP/SSTP/SFTP cable runs and avoid amateur or damaged cables. When running through a network switch, ensure the switch supports the required bandwidth and that network traffic does not interfere with the AV stream. Keep cable lengths within the specified 120 m limit for reliable 1080p performance.
