How to use

Install the power strip into an available 19" mounting position in a rack or cabinet using appropriate screws and mounting points. Connect the strip to a properly rated, grounded mains supply using a compatible input lead or cable. Plug the device requiring power into the Schutzkontakt socket to ensure it receives a grounded connection. Ensure the upstream supply provides appropriate overcurrent protection and that the installation follows local electrical codes.

Recommendations

Use this unit for single-device grounding in racks and cabinets. Verify that the connected device's power rating does not exceed the available circuit capacity and avoid daisy-chaining power strips. For installations in critical systems, combine with appropriate upstream surge protection and circuit breakers as required by local regulations.
