PoE Injector Extralink 1 Θύρα 100 Mbit/s RJ45

Extralink 1 Port PoE Injector is a passive PoE injector designed to deliver power to a single Ethernet device over a standard Cat5/Cat6 cable. It provides a Fast Ethernet connection (10/100 Mbps) while injecting 48 V power onto the cable pairs so the powered device does not require a separate power supply. The compact, lightweight unit connects between an unpowered Ethernet port and the powered device using RJ45 connectors.

Advantages

The Extralink PoE injector combines data transmission and 48 V power delivery in a single inline unit, allowing simple installation without modifying existing network switches. Its two RJ45 ports separate data input and PoE output, and the passive design keeps the device compact and energy-efficient. The injector’s small size and 3 g weight make it easy to place in constrained or remote locations.

Suitable for

• Powering a single PoE-enabled IP camera
• Supplying power to a wireless access point or bridge
• Powering network devices in locations without nearby power outlets
• Small office and home network setups requiring a single PoE feed

Key specifications

• Brand: Extralink
• Model (MPN): ex.1957
• Data rate: 10/100 Mbps (Fast Ethernet)
• PoE voltage: 48 V (passive PoE)
• Ethernet ports: 2 × RJ45
• Colour: Black
• Weight: 0.003 kg

How to use

Connect the injector’s data input RJ45 port to your network switch or router using an Ethernet cable. Connect the injector’s PoE output RJ45 port to the PoE device (for example, an IP camera or access point). Ensure cables are properly seated and the powered device supports passive 48 V PoE on pairs 4,5 (positive) and 7,8 (negative). The injector requires no additional configuration.

Recommendations

Use quality Ethernet cables (Cat5e or higher) for reliable power and data delivery, and verify that the powered device accepts passive 48 V on the specified pairs before connecting. Avoid using the injector with devices that require IEEE 802.3af/at negotiation unless they explicitly support passive PoE at 48 V.
