PLANET 2-Port 10G/2.5G/1G/100BASE-X μετατροπέας μέσου δικτύου μαύρο

PLANET XT-815A is a commercial-grade 2-port media converter that supports 10G/2.5G/1GBASE-X and 100BASE-FX SFP/SFP+ interfaces for high-speed fiber transmission. Housed in a metal chassis with LC and SFP+ fiber-optic connectors, the device is suitable for enterprise backbones, campuses, hospitals and telecom infrastructures where extended-distance and multi-rate fiber connections are required. It operates from a 5V/2A power source and has compact dimensions for flexible placement.

Advantages

The XT-815A provides dual 10G-capable fiber ports with multi-rate auto-detection (10G/2.5G/1G/100Mbps), enabling conversion between various fiber types and speeds, including multimode to single-mode and duplex to simplex. It supports a broad range of SFP/SFP+ transceivers (10GBASE-SR/LR, 2500BASE-X, 1000BASE-SX/LX, 100BASE-FX), offers a 40Gbps switching fabric, 12K jumbo frame support, a 4K MAC address table and VLAN pass-through, and is compatible with PLANET MC-series chassis for centralized management.

Suitable for

• Enterprise backbone and campus fiber links
• Data center edge and cloud computing uplinks
• Inter-building fiber connections and telecom aggregation
• Hospital and critical infrastructure networks requiring high-speed fiber

How to use

Install appropriate SFP or SFP+ transceivers into the LC/SFP+ slots according to required speed and distance (for example, 10GBASE-SR for short multimode links or 10GBASE-LR for long single-mode links). Connect fiber cables to the transceivers and connect the converter to network devices such as switches, servers or PON equipment. Power the unit with a compatible 5V/2A adapter. The XT-815A will auto-negotiate supported link speeds and operate as a media converter or PON-to-Ethernet bridge depending on the installed modules.

Recommendations

Use certified SFP/SFP+ transceivers that match the required fiber type and distance. For long-distance links, choose single-mode LR modules and verify end-to-end fiber continuity and attenuation. If mounting multiple units, consider using the PLANET MC-series chassis for centralized power and management.
