Patchkabel ROLINE S/FTP (PiMF) Cat.6 κόκκινο 15,0 m

Patch Cord ROLINE S/FTP (PiMF) Cat.6 Red 15.0m is a prepared network patch cable designed for reliable wired connections between devices. The cable uses a 4-pair stranded copper conductor with pair-level foil shielding and a complete braid (S/FTP, PiMF) to reduce electromagnetic interference. Both ends are fitted with screened RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts and moulded kink protection. Contact wiring follows the EIA/TIA 568 1:1 standard. The cable is flexible and suitable for installations with narrow bends, and its red jacket provides easy visual identification.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PiMF) construction with aluminium-clad polyester foil around pairs and full braid shielding offers enhanced protection against crosstalk and external interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure stable conductivity and corrosion resistance. Moulded kink protection improves connector durability and reliability in repeated handling or tight routing. Cat.6 specification supports high-speed network applications requiring consistent signal quality.

Suitable for

• Wiring network switches, routers and patch panels in office or home environments
• High-speed Ethernet connections up to Cat6 performance
• Environments where reduced interference and clear cable identification are needed

Key specifications

• Cable type: S/FTP (PiMF) Cat.6
• Conductor: 4-pair stranded copper
• Shielding: pair foil + full braid
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, screened
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Wiring: EIA/TIA 568 1:1
• Length: 15.0 m
• Colour: Red

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router, or network interface) and the other plug to the destination device or patch panel, ensuring a secure fit until the latch clicks. Route the cable avoiding excessive bending beyond its recommended bend radius and avoid sharp kinks. For rack installations, use appropriate cable management to maintain shield integrity and prevent mechanical strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.6 S/FTP patch cord in shielded or grounded installations where possible, and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines. Inspect connectors before use and replace the cable if the jacket or connector shows visible damage.
