Patchkabel ROLINE S/FTP (PiMF) Cat.6 10,0 m μαύρο

The ROLINE S/FTP (PiMF) Cat.6 patch cable, 10.0 m in black, is a prepared network patch cord with RJ-45 connectors on both ends designed for Cat.6 installations. It uses a 4-pair stranded copper conductor with pair-level aluminium-clad polyester foil and a complete braided shield (S/FTP) to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain stable data transmission. The cable is terminated 1:1 according to the EIA/TIA 568 standard and features gold-plated contacts for reliable connectivity.

Advantages

This Cat.6 patch cord provides enhanced shielding (S/FTP) for improved immunity to crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded cables. The moulded kink protection and flexible jacket support tight bends and frequent handling without damaging the connector or cable core. Gold-plated contacts and high-quality RJ-45 plugs ensure low contact resistance and consistent signal transfer.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, patch panels and network equipment within racks and cabinets
• Office and data center horizontal cabling where Cat.6 performance is required
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference that benefit from shielded cable

Key specifications

• Length: 10 m
• Category: Cat.6
• Cable construction: 4-pair stranded copper
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + pair foil)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45, contact wiring 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Contacts: gold plated
• Colour: Black

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network device (switch, patch panel, router or computer) and the other into the corresponding port of the second device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable without sharp kinks and avoid placing it under heavy mechanical stress; use cable management in racks or along walls to maintain bend radii and shielding integrity.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the patch cord for short-distance interconnections within racks or between nearby equipment and avoid running it in parallel and close proximity to high-voltage power lines. Verify compatibility with Cat.6 requirements and test links after installation using appropriate network testers.
