Patchkabel Equip Cat.6A S/FTP RJ-45 10m μωβ

The Equip Cat.6A S/FTP RJ-45 patch cable, 10 m in purple, is designed for high-speed Ethernet connections up to 10000 Mbit/s. It uses S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 contacts to maintain signal integrity in demanding network environments and supports 10GBase-T cabling technology for reliable 10 Gigabit transmission.

Advantages

The Cat.6A construction provides increased bandwidth and an improved signal-to-noise ratio compared with lower categories. S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while gold-plated contacts ensure consistent low-resistance connections. The 10 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-workstation or patch panel-to-switch runs without additional splices.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T network links
• Patch panel to switch connections
• Workstation or server cabling within data centers and offices
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Data transfer rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Cable length: 10 m
• Color: Purple
• Weight: 0.317 kg
• Brand/MPN/EAN: EQUIP / 606808 / 4015867229767

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network device (switch, router, or NIC) and the other to the patch panel or endpoint. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference for best performance. For permanent installations, use appropriate cable management to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat.6A S/FTP patch cable for short to medium-length 10 Gigabit links where reduced interference and reliable signal quality are required; avoid excessive bending radii and exposure to high temperatures to preserve performance.
