Patchkabel Equip Cat.6A S/FTP RJ-45 0,5m ροζ

The equip® Cat.6A S/FTP Patch Cord is a 0.5 m networking cable designed for demanding network environments and 10GBase-T applications. It features RJ-45 connectors with gold plating for reliable contact and an S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction to minimise electromagnetic interference while supporting data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s. The cable's pink colour provides a visible identification option for structured cabling installations.

Advantages

The Cat.6A S/FTP design offers higher bandwidth and improved signal-to-noise margin compared with lower-category cables, enabling ultrahigh and low-error performance for 10G applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure stable conductivity and corrosion resistance. Compact 0.5 m length reduces excess cable in patch panels and workstations, while the shielding reduces crosstalk and external interference.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T network links
• Server rooms and data centres for short patch runs
• High-speed desktop connections to switches and routers
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T (Cat.6A)
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair)
• Data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Product colour: Pink
• Weight: 0.024 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (switch, router, or network interface) and the other end to the target port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Use the 0.5 m length for short patching between adjacent ports, patch panels and wall outlets to avoid cable clutter. Handle the cable without sharp bends and avoid excessive pulling force to maintain shielding and connector integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.6A S/FTP cable in environments that benefit from shielding, keep cable runs within appropriate length limits for patching, and avoid routing alongside high-voltage power lines. Inspect connectors before installation and replace if contacts are damaged.
