Patchkabel Equip Cat.6A S/FTP RJ-45 0,15m μωβ

The Equip Cat.6A S/FTP Patch Cord in purple is a short patch cable designed for high-speed wired networks. It supports 10GBase-T transmissions with up to 10000 Mbit/s and uses S/FTP shielding plus gold-plated RJ-45 contacts to ensure stable signal transfer in demanding network environments.

Advantages

This Cat.6A S/FTP patch cord provides increased bandwidth and improved signal-to-noise margin compared with lower-category cables. Its S/FTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The compact 0.15 m length makes it suitable for short interconnections in patch panels, switches, or close rack-mounted equipment.

Suitable for

• Short connections between network devices in racks and patch panels
• 10GBase-T network segments requiring reduced interference
• High-density cabling where a short, visible cable is needed

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s (10G)
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foil around pairs and overall braid)
• Product colour: Purple
• Weight: 0.0124 kg
• Brand: EQUIP, MPN: 606800, EAN: 4015867237304

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network device (switch, router or network interface) and the other RJ-45 connector to the corresponding port on the patch panel or device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Use the 0.15 m length for short-distance links to avoid excess cable and maintain tidy rack installations.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and heavy mechanical stress on the cable, keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources where possible, and verify compatibility with your 10GBase-T equipment. The short purple patch cord is intended for short interconnects and not for in-wall permanent installation.
