How to use

Turn off the circuit or ensure the relevant switch is in a safe state before attempting replacement. Remove the existing cover or trim from the switch assembly according to the manufacturer's instructions or standard safe practises for switch maintenance. Align the Busch-Jaeger 2505-214 accessory with the mechanism and snap or secure it into place, verifying that it sits flush and does not obstruct switch operation. Restore power and test the switch to confirm correct mechanical and visual integration.

Recommendations

Use the accessory only with compatible Busch-Jaeger mechanisms and frames. For electrical safety, disconnect power or follow local safety regulations before servicing switches. If the underlying mechanism shows signs of wear or electrical faults, replace or repair the mechanism rather than only replacing the cover.
