Πανκατευθυντική κεραία Poynting A-PUCK-0001-V2-01-W 5,5 dBi 2,4–7,2 GHz

The Poynting A-PUCK-0001-V2-01-W is an omni-directional antenna offering 5.5 dBi gain across a wide frequency range of 2.4–7.2 GHz. Designed for outdoor deployment, the antenna supports modern Wi-Fi and cellular networking standards including IEEE 802.11ac and 802.11ax, and provides stable coverage for access points, routers and radio equipment. The weatherproof enclosure and compact puck form factor enable versatile placement on masts, walls or flat surfaces.

Advantages

This antenna provides a balanced combination of wideband frequency coverage and moderate gain, allowing single-antenna installations to handle multiple wireless bands without retuning. Its omni-directional radiation pattern offers uniform horizontal coverage, and the rugged, weatherproof housing ensures reliable performance in outdoor environments. The compact size simplifies installation where space is limited.

Suitable for

• Outdoor Wi‑Fi access points and mesh nodes
• Cellular data modems and routers operating across 2.4–7.2 GHz
• Public hotspots, small business wireless coverage
• Temporary or permanent installations on masts, rooftops or poles

Key specifications

• Frequency range: 2.4–7.2 GHz
• Gain: 5.5 dBi (typical)
• Radiation pattern: Omni‑directional (horizontal plane)
• Polarization: Linear
• Operating environment: Weatherproof for outdoor use
• Form factor: Puck-style compact enclosure

How to use

Mount the antenna on a suitable external surface such as a mast, pole or wall bracket, ensuring the connector is protected from direct water ingress and the antenna has clear line of sight where possible for best coverage. Connect the antenna to the radio or router using an appropriate low-loss coaxial cable and compatible connector. Align the antenna vertically for standard omni‑directional coverage; no azimuth aiming is required. Verify device settings and run link tests to confirm improved signal levels and throughput after installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, place the antenna at elevated positions away from large metallic obstructions and maintain a secure, weather-sealed cable connection. Use compatible mounting accessories and cables rated for outdoor use to preserve signal integrity and longevity. When deploying multiple antennas, observe recommended spacing to minimize mutual interference.
